I spent 11 years as an Army officer, led Soldiers in combat in both Iraq and Afghanistan and worked with foreign governments while I was in Special Operations to get everything from wells and roads constructed to bringing warring tribes together. I’ve built new organizations from the ground up and worked with our State Department to make sure that humanitarian operations were getting done in some of the most remote (and hostile) parts of the world. Now I want to take the lessons I’ve learned through years of service and apply them to our State House of Representatives.
